The UAE offers several types of visas depending on the purpose of entry. Below are the key visa categories commonly used by residents, visitors, and professionals:

Employment Visa

Foreign nationals seeking employment in UAE-registered companies must obtain an employment visa. This visa requires approval from the Ministry of Labor and the UAE Immigration Department.

Tourist Visa

A UAE tourist visa allows visitors to stay for up to 30 days and can be arranged through UAE-based travel agencies or hotels.

Family Sponsorship / Residence Visa

This visa applies to spouses, children, and parents of UAE residents who wish to live in the UAE. Eligibility depends on the sponsor’s salary, designation, and specific government requirements.

Partner / Investor Visa

This visa category is designed for individuals establishing a new business or investing in an existing one in the UAE. It grants the holder the right to live and work in the UAE for up to 3 years, subject to meeting required criteria and submitting a security deposit.

Housemaid / Nanny Visa

UAE residents employing domestic help must obtain a dedicated maid or nanny visa, following all regulations and sponsorship guidelines.

Visitors entering the UAE can obtain a Tourist Visa (valid for 30 days), a Service Visa (valid for 14 days), or a Visit Visa (valid for 30 days and extendable for an additional 30 days) through an approved travel agency or hotel, provided they have booked at least one night’s stay.

To process the visa, travelers must share a copy of their passport and the purpose of visit—tourism is fully acceptable—along with their expected arrival date. Once approved, the hotel or travel agency will provide a copy of the issued visa.

Some airlines also offer a 96-hour transit visa for passengers passing through the UAE.

In addition, UAE-based individuals or organizations can apply for a Visit Visa on behalf of the traveler. For those coming to work in the UAE, employers or authorized sponsors can arrange the required work visa.

  • Passport Scans
Upload a clear scan of your passport’s first page (and last page for Indian passports).
Save the file in JPEG format to avoid upload errors during submission.
  • Processing Time
Standard visa processing typically takes 2–3 business days.
Some nationalities may require additional time.
UAE business days are Sunday to Thursday.
  • Visa Approval & Download
Once approved, your UAE e-visa will be uploaded to our system for you to download and print.
You can track your application anytime using the Track Your Visa feature on our website.

If the child’s surname differs from that of the parents, ensure the birth certificate is submitted along with the application.
